The purpose of this workshop is to provide educators an opportunity to understand the benefits Minecraft presents as an educational tool to inspire and engage students in ways they have never been before. In this hands-on workshop, participants will create a Minecraft city which meets the objectives of a Primary level social studies assignment in which students need to identify the functional components of a city such as a police station, school, parks, grocery store, roads, and trees. Materials from Mike Washburn's workshops will be used in the workshop.

Participants will learn to use Google Forms and other Google tools for formative and summative assessments.
